For more than 10 years Hick Pix Bewegtbild has been standing for state of the art digital film production. We bring together live action and animation film. Our mission: visualizing the future, today.
Our films capture new technologies that transform our collective realities, especially the digital sphere and the energy sector. We show how things work, but also provide context: opportunities, challenges, and conflicts that emerge from the technological shift become visible and understandable through our work.
Be it documentary features, TV reports, corporate or explainer videos: our experience and passion for film production and animation help us develop engaging visuals and stories for any challenge.
Technology means change. For people and business. For our society and our environment.
Our films tell stories of transformation and changing paradigms.
Our documentaries feature inventions that change our world fundamentally and tell stories about the opportunities and pitfalls of the digital revolution :
-scenarios about the future of our energy systems for german government agencies and NGOs.
-corporate videos about innovative companies and their technologies.
-TV reports at the intersection of culture and digital technology for award-winning formats like ARTE “Metropolis", ZDF “Aspekte”, 3sat “Kulturzeit” or ZDFinfo’s “Elektrischer Reporter”.
Engaging videos about forward-looking topics need an innovative visual approach.
We at Hick Pix Bewegtbild believe: the future can be featured, even though it’s not yet visible. The key to that are our animations, visualizations, infographics, and VFX.
Our software-platforms Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk 3ds Max with Chaos Group V-Ray and our inhouse render farm enable us to design and animate CGI-Videos unconstrained by time and space. We design 3d-visualization of prototypes, machines, and processes in photorealistic and stylized visuals - for maximum precision and credibility. Our infographics and explainer-videos make complex topics easy to grasp.
Whether it's the history of digital technology in Germany, the environmental footprint of our way of living, or the inner workings of a cyber-attack: Our 2d-animations explain the core of complex topics in an engaging, understandable, and entertaining way.
